We bring the world's finest audio to Canada

Motet Distribution imports and distributes high-end audio equipment for specialist dealers across Canada. We look for the same thing in every brand we take on: equipment built by people who care how it sounds long after the sale, and who build it to last.

From our base in Markham, Ontario, we handle importing, warranty and technical support for thirteen brands — Japanese amplifiers built to be kept for decades, British valve electronics wired by hand, planar headphones, network players, and loudspeakers shaped by forty years of French cabinet-making. Different disciplines, one standard.

How we work

Motet Distribution supplies authorized dealers across Canada, and operates brand-specific direct-to-consumer stores for two of the brands we carry — fiiocanada.ca and hifimancanada.ca. For everything else, it is the dealer who has the room, the time and the other equipment to let someone actually hear the difference, and no website has ever replaced that. Our job is to make sure they have the products, the training and the support behind them to do it well.

For customers, that means every product we import reaches you through a dealer who can demonstrate it properly and stands behind it afterwards. For dealers, it means a distributor that answers the phone.
